"A Day of Soberness in Muara Baru"

Indonesia is one of the countries that still have a lot of poverty matters going on. The most significant problem that can be seen is through the unfeasible accommodations that still exist in a lot of places all around Indonesia. Even in Jakarta, as the capital city, also has a lot of unlikely accommodations especially around the city reservoirs, riverbanks, and a lot of slum places. Those places are not living friendly. There are still a lot of families who live and work around those places. The places itself is a very damp place with a lot of waste materials scattered all around the place.

Through this assessment, I saw social inequality as well as economic issues through the slums environment. People who live around the slums as well has not been aware of the danger (health) that can present in their living. However, through this survey and photo hunting, I saw a lot of things that happen on the slums. They have a very simple life and for them, happiness is a simple thing as long as they remember to always be grateful through every single thing in their life. I can also feel the warmth and comfort from this place because everyone there knows each other and they support one another.

So here is the photograph of "A Day of Soberness in Muara Baru, North Jakarta"

IT'S ALL ABOUT HOW MUCH YOU CAN APPRECIATE WHAT YOU'VE HAD"
