My Story

Growing up in a garment specialist family, I have received some knowledge about how the industry works. However, as I grow older, my curiosity grows more in terms of how the merchandising and marketing side of the fashion industry. After a long time of consideration, I finally chose to take Fashion Merchandising as a major in my studies. I took Fashion Marketing and Management major at Raffles Design Institute Jakarta and continuing my studies at Northumbria University Newcastle (majoring in Fashion Communication).

My hard work during my college life has brought me more knowledge in fashion marketing and merchandising, product development, social media strategy, financial statement, and also brand management. Other than that, I am also interested in the world of event management. I do believe that the experiences that I had in fashion and events are cohesive to creating my awareness to be a responsible young professional.

Since I was a kid, I have always had a dream to be a successful entrepreneur, especially in the fashion industry. But I am aware of all the limitations that I had especially in terms of how the real work-life of the fashion world is. It leads me to eagerly want to learn more in the industry to be able to be aware of how the ever-changing fashion trends globally. I believe that practices to know more about consumer insight, artistic sensibility, and professional communication will proceed to an excellent outcome in the fashion business.

After receiving all the basic knowledge of fashion during my studies, I believe that I am ready and prepared to expand my knowledge in the work field. For that, I am finding a lot of opportunities that I can do and building up myself and with more experiences to reach my standard of success one day later.

Not just it, I learned a lot of skills that I never thought of having. And soon it started to carve me to be 'knowledgeable' me.

CO-FOUNDER & CMO

k ó r e  -  @kore__official

And lastly, the last brand that I and my friend develop is @kore__official.

This brand focuses mostly on the online market and especially the marketplace (Shopee Indonesia). Through kóre, we don't really focus on creating a brand, but we focus most on selling and grabbing the online market.

In this brand, I took part to be the brand managing, social media marketing (graphic designs, and influencers marketing), arranging the photoshoots, doing the market analysis, in charge of engaging with customers (customer service, receiving questions, complaints, personal selling to the resellers as a wholesale market) and also I took part in managing the finances and doing the budgeting and cost control.

CO-FOUNDER & CMO

BASE THE LABEL  -  @basethelabel.id

I created another brand with a different target market, different aesthetics, and different market direction. Base the label focuses mainly on the offline markets (bazaars and events). In this brand, I took part in brand developing, brand management, social media marketing (graphic designs, creating content), arranging photoshoots, and also doing market analysis.

I also took part in managing the finances and doing the budgeting.

CO-FOUNDER & CMO

R I É N N  -  @rienn.official

The blessing in disguise: my first 'baby' that is born during the pandemic.

As I've mentioned, I took my gap year before I continue my studies in Newcastle. And because I have the awareness of being productive even in the uncertain times, my partner and I created the brand.

My part in this brand is brand developing, brand management, taking charge of the social media marketing (Graphic designs, developing content ideas, influencer marketing), arranging the photoshoots, and also doing the market analysis from time to time. I also am the one who's in charge of the finances and doing the budgeting and cost control.

Fashion General Internship

LOCALSTRUNK

A baby step in the fashion industry!

During the start of the pandemic, I was given the opportunity to have an internship at Localstrunk. Localstrunk is a multi-brand store that carries a lot of Indonesian Local brands.

During my internship, I worked remotely to develop the online market of Localstrunk. Mainly in digital marketing skills (social media marketing, content creating, graphic design), assisting new programs to create more awareness of the stores, creating proposals for future events, influencer marketing, and creating online marketing strategies. And I also manage the brand collaboration. I also have experience working offline to be a fashion buyer, doing market analysis in offline stores, and also arranging photoshoots for the collections.

Event Crew (Freelance)

COLOR LIVE ASIA

My life of the event of mine didn't just end with the party events. I am also given the opportunity to be involved in the sub-brand of the same company (Full Color Party Organizer) which expert in music concerts.

It was indeed a very fun experience to be involved in the concerts and I was given the job to be either the backstage crew, usher, or even LO (Liasion Officer).

Event Crew (Freelance)

FULL COLOR PARTY ORGANIZER

After being recruited to be a freelance, I no longer spent my time in the office.

I was involved in the party events itself as an usher or even floor director to make sure that the party events (birthdays or gatherings) went well and based on the rundown

Marketing Internship

FULL COLOR PARTY ORGANIZER

The first 'formal' Internship I've ever had. And a dream to be involved in.

During these days, I learned a lot to look, try, and learn. I enjoy a lot being involved in the marketing office with other colleagues. Being involved in meetings with clients and other colleagues. Developing events ideas and rundowns. And finally, I was recruited to be a freelance on the company
